Precision SimmerSear™ Burners offer professional-level accuracy, so every simmer, sear and sauté comes out exactly the way you intended. With a high heat output of 18,000 BTU, these unique burners are equipped with technology to deliver unsurpassed performance and meet your every demand, so scallops sear evenly and delicate chocolates never scorch. Additionally, the Dual-Stacked Sealed Burners also provide exceptional simmering capabilities to keep your sauces from evaporating while trying to keep them warm.
You will never have to wonder if you left the burner on again. Sleek and modern Illumina™ Burner Controls emit a cool blue glow to indicate when the burners are on. Each ergonomically designed die-cast metal knob has a clear lens insert that emits the flame-blue light from below with a rubberized grip area for added comfort. The SimmerSafe™ Indicator light is an additional reminder that the cooktop is on although the flame may be barely visible when at its lowest point during simmer.
Each burner on the low-profile cooktop consists of a simple assembly with additional safety features to ensure a safe and secure cooking experience. The Perma-Flame™ technology automatically reignites the flame if it goes out unexpectedly for uninterrupted cooking. The unique SmartFlame™ feature reduces flame output under each grate finger, protecting the finish and longevity of the grates, so the cooktop retains its stylish appearance.
