Design Studio: Epicure 36" Built-In Bottom Freezer RefrigeratorDACOR UPDATES 20-20 DESIGN™ CATALOG WITH NEW PRODUCTS

The anxiety that comes with remodeling a kitchen can be overwhelming. Potential delays and unexpected costs coupled with the fear that the project may not turn out as intended can make the entire experience a bit nerve-racking.

Designers try to put clients at ease with the reassurance that their dream kitchen will come out exactly the way they imagined and with access to innovative technology, designers know their promises are not in vain.

20-20 Design, one of the industry’s leading kitchen and bath planning software programs, has made drafting kitchen and bath layouts easier than ever, allowing professionals to show clients a more precise interpretation of what their finished kitchen will look like.

The software includes advanced features that allow designers to work more resourcefully, enabling the space planning and rendering of 3-D images and the drawing of rooms to scale with a complete selection of products from manufacturers’ catalogs that will show exactly how cabinets and appliances open and move.

This unique capability gives users the opportunity to explore a variety of appliance details that would be otherwise impossible with hand-drafted plans.

With the release of the Dacor catalog in 20-20 Design this spring, designers and homeowners have seen the cool blue glow of the Illumina™ Burner Controls of the Epicure® Dual-Fuel Ranges and the variety of color options of the Preference® style appliances before their kitchen project is complete.

Now, users have more Dacor appliance options to choose from; Renaissance Cooktops and Wall Ovensbuilt-in and free-standing refrigerators and ventilation hoods have been recently added to the Dacor catalog.

Designers and their clients can view the unique features, finishes and accessories offered by each of these products.

Sleek Illumina™ Burner Controls, which emit a blue glow to indicate when the burners are on, are a beautiful feature of the Renaissance Cooktops.  A clear lens insert sits within the die-cast metal knob, with a rubberized grip for comfort, and the SimmerSafe™ Indicator Light offers an additional reminder that the cooktop is on.

The Renaissance Wall Ovens celebrate the luxurious style of the classic wall oven in Epicure and Millennia® styles with cutting-edge performance details including the RapidHeat™ Bake Element, which ensures even baking, fast preheating and accurate temperature control. The element is safely protected beneath glass from spills and drips, which makes for trouble-free cleanup.

Built-in Refrigerators in 48”, 42” and 36” widths, in Epicure or Integrated styles, boast increased storage capacity with an adjustable door bin that can hold gallon-size containers for added convenience and include a redesigned in-door electronic ice and water dispenser that easily accommodates oversized cups, sports bottles and tumblers.

With a convenient French door configuration and spacious interiors that easily accommodate oversized trays and serving platters, the 36” bottom freezer refrigerators are available in all six Preference colors – Anthracite  Gray, Sterling Gray, Titanium Silver, Blue Water, Slate Green and Black – and the contemporary black glass/stainless steel finish of Millennia.

Stainless steel Epicure and Millennia Ventilation Hoods integrate new technology with a groundbreaking hidden electronic touchpad that provides complete control over the variable- speed fans and halogen lighting that spotlights the cooking area below to help quietly and efficiently improve the indoor air quality of the kitchen by removing steam, grease and cooking odors.
