Recently, Dacor unveiled a series of new Epicure and Integrated Built-in Refrigerators in 48", 42" and 36" widths with conveniently located electronic touch controls, as pictured above, that allow simple access to the refrigerators’ audible and visual alarms that alert users when internal conditions are less than ideal to help prevent food from being spoiled.
Built-in 48" and 42" models, with side-by-side doors, feature a unique Ingredient Care Center™ that takes the guesswork out of food storage to ensure precious ingredients remain fresh for maximum taste and texture in an electronically controlled, temperature-adjustable drawer.
In addition to the multiple alarms, the Max Cool™ feature assists with periods of heavy ice usage, full grocery loads or temporarily warm room temperatures. Holiday Mode™ allows users to modify the interior lighting or icemaker when traveling or for religious observances.
ENERGY STAR® qualified, the built-in 36" models offer increased storage capacity than previous models with an adjustable gallon door bin and bright LED lighting in the deli drawer.

The new built-in models complement Dacor’s existing collection of premium cabinet-depth refrigerators, which also feature easy-to-navigate front-mounted controls that provide accurate temperature readouts, sensors that alert when the internal temperatures increase and an Adaptive Defrost that memorizes how frequently the door opens and adjusts defrost cycles accordingly.
To maximize space, French door cabinet-depth bottom freezer models are available in eight finish options including the classic stainless steel of Epicure, the elegant black glass and stainless steel combination of Millennia and all 6 glass colors of Preference. However, if a standard door is your style of choice, then the Epicure style with a left or right swing door will definitely do the job of keeping food at its freshest.
