Could be better. I purchased this cook top in May 2012. Its been good, but i miss my Kitchen Aid Range :( The sides of the cook top that are Stainless are beginning to rust! Also, the knobs on the front no longer have the High/Low/ and heat markings. They rub off when you use them! I am disappointed in Dacor, I truly believed they were a high-end product. Hopefully my warranty will cover this! February 23, 2013
Great styling and feeling of quality but Perma-clean surface not so great. From the first glance, the Dacor 36" Distinctive cook top appealed to us. However, I have used the cook top for a week now and the Perma-clean surface already has discoloration and marks on it. Even though Dacor claims the surface will not be marred with scrubbing, it is not so. I used fresh soapy water and a sponge to clean up spills followed by The Works glass and stainless cleaner with a soft cloth and still the discoloration remains. More work in clean-up I do not need. It is too fussy for a hard core cook and I long for the white porcelain of my former cooktop. Features I do like are the blue indicator light, the responsive control knobs, and the simmer-sear feature of the mail burner. December 4, 2012
