30" Over The Range Convection Microwave Hood
Absolutely love this microwave/convection, still works like new after 10 years!
I was hesitant to get an over the stove microwave as i wanted a professional looking kitchen, but due to limited space I decided this was the best solution.
It looks even better than the pictures and cooking is amazing, Dacor made the right choice in choosing to reduce the microwave power, it cooks much better that way and food doesn't seem like its microwaved. I installed this before the oven and cooktop and used it for several months before the rest of the remodel was complete, and I really didn't miss the rest of the kitchen. You can cook almost anything perfectly in this especailly with the bake/mix combo settings. Ventilation is good for my induction cooktop but would definitely need the extra 600cfm blower kit if you put it over a gas cooktop.
Only thing i would change it the touchpad, even though it works flawlessly, i prefer the look, feel, and ease of cleaning of the glass capacitive touchpads, which are in the newer Dacor ovens, and possibly even in this microwave now. my over and microwave are both 2004 models so they both have the plastic touchpads and both work fine, just a matter of aesthetics.

This product is awesome
Installed as part of a kitchen remodel and I've always wanted to get rid of that ugly toasted oven that always sat on the counter so we invested in this convection microwave. Firstly this product is awesome and lives up to everything we expected it would do and more. it also looks great and was one of the only ones that we saw with a heat deflector which makes it safe when installed above a pro range (18,000 BTU burners). This is a perfect size oven for when you don't need a full sized oven and handles small cakes, roasts, breads or even a tray of lasagna - we use it more than the oven on our range!

Excellent microwave/convection oven combination
The versatility of having both a microwave and convection oven is wonderful and takes a lot of the stress out of having a turkey in the oven and needing an additional oven for stuffing or other dishes.

Gone missing - maximum heat
My Dacor microwave-convection oven is my only oven. I live in a small condo and thought this would be a great solution, but it's missing the top range (450 degrees) of heat. It only goes to 425, making it hard to cook or broil some things. Though the design is good and easy to operate, I was told that accessories like pans, etc. that would fit on the round turntable, would be available for purchase. I have not found that to be true.

Love the convection feature as well as the sharp looking microwave design.
This is a wonderful 2 for 1 appliance. We really enjoy using the convection oven and the dual roasting features. The design is attractive and low profile providing an efficient and creative way to prepare a wide range of foods.

As a microwave, it definitely gets the job done. To me though, at the price point, it's a bit overkill for a standard homeowner.

Attractive and efficient
I love my microwave/convection oven. It is used constantly, and I have put the convection to use numerous times, especially in the summer when I want to cook something without have to turn on my big oven. We are planning on moving and it is going with us for sure, that's how much we like it. Just one word of caution, make sure you take the plastic food cover out that is often left in the microwave when you turn on the convection, as I (out of habit) forgot to do that and melted the cover. oops, my bad! : \ Fortunately the food covers are only a few bucks at Target. Remember the convection is basically an oven.
