Best Idea Ever! I have 2 drawer microwaves. One Dacor & one Sharp. The sharp one has given me trouble since day 1.(Door does not close properly) Dacor fabulous! (Could be a bit deeper but can live with it. Saves on shoulders from lifting heavy casserole dishes up & down. Buying my 3rd one now (Dacor) for another reno. June 2, 2013
Design flaw: the open and close causes liquids to spill Microwave in a drawer is great. However, this product opens fast and closes very hard, e.g. with a bang. Therefore, reheating coffee in a cup even 3/4 full will cause it to spill. Heating soup requires a very deep bowl with a cover. Not a fatal flaw, but troublesome. I will just have to put up with it, as it was the very best way to place the microwave in my remodel. I rated the value as low, because it should be designed better, so as to eliminate the problem.
